Adam Cann – Physiotherapist

Adam is a registered physiotherapist with Rehab First providing services in the London region. He began his post-secondary education with an honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (2000)followed by a Masters of Human Development (2002) from Laurentian University in Sudbury with a special interest in ergonomics and vibration exposures. He then attended Western University and completed a Doctorate in Rehabilitation Sciences (2006) with research interests in occupations risk factors for food service workers and the determents of vibration exposure. Adam also successfully completed a CIHR strategic training program with world renowned reasearchers and received a diploma from L'Université de Sherbrooke in Work Disability Prevention (2005). After completion of his PhD he successfully completed his Masters of Physiotherapy from Western. Adam has a special interest in work disability prevention and successful return to work. He has worked in hospital based, private clinic, and occupational health clinics in the London region and has extensive experience with post-surgical management, repetitive strain disorders, musculoskeletal disorders, and motor vehicle accident recovery. Adam incorporates manual therapy, mechanical diagnosis and treatment, acupuncture, soft tissue mobilization, exercise, and education strategies to restore and optimize function to meet client’s rehabilitation goals.
Amr EL-Gabry - Physiotherapist

Amr is a Registered Physiotherapist with Rehab First providing services in the Greater Toronto Area. Amr graduated from Cairo University in Egypt in 1998 and earned his Doctor of Physiotherapy degree (DPT) from Syracuse University, NY in 2015. He has over 18 years of clinical experience and has worked in various countries. Amr has experience treating patients with impaired functional performance resulting from deteriorated neurology and/or musculoskeletal systems (i.e. MVC, falls, post-surgical hip/knee, stroke and MS rehab). Amr incorporates a holistic approach and has been able to develop a unique set of manual therapy and mobilization methods using a wide range of techniques and methods such as Mulligan, McKenzie, Active Release and Myofasical Release to decrease pain and restore function to meet client’s rehabilitation and functional goals.
Annie Campbell - Physiotherapist

Anne Campbell is a registered physiotherapist working with Rehab First Inc. in the London area. Ms. Campbell graduated from Western University with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology in 2012. Following this degree she then went on to complete her Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney (Australia) graduating in 2015. Along with her experience working with adults with varied disabilities, Ms. Campbell has clinical experience working with pediatric clients of all ages in home, clinic, community and school settings. She has assessed and treated children with a variety of special needs including but not limited to Acquired Brain Injury, Down Syndrome, Williams Syndrome, Prader - Willi Syndrome and Autism. A particular interest of Ms. Campbell's is working with children to develop their gross motor skills and functional mobility to give them better access and independence within their school, community and home environments. She has completed a number of professional development courses related to the pediatric population she serves, specifically related to children with Cerebral Palsy. Ms. Campbell has provided her expertise of a number of medico-legal cases for children who have suffered birth injuries.
Ashley MacDonald – Physiotherapist and Regional Director (Dorchester)

Ashley MacDonald is a registered physiotherapist and Regional Director. Ashley graduated from St. Francis Xavier University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, then completed her Masters in Physical Therapy at the University of Western Ontario. Since that time Ashley has continued her education in manual therapy and acupuncture and has completed courses through the McKenzie Institute. Hers clinical experience includes work in an outpatient orthopedic setting, where she was responsible for assessing and treating individuals with predominantly musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Additionally, she has experience with conditioning and work hardening programs. Ashley utilizes a combination of treatment techniques including manual therapy, soft tissue and neural mobilization, active exercise therapy and patient education to help each individual improve their mobility and restore function.
Emily Rijgersberg – Physiotherapist

Emily is a registered physiotherapist with Rehab First in the Hamilton-Niagara region. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and Physical Education from Wilfrid Laurier University before continuing her education and earning her Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of Western Ontario. Since that time, she has furthered her training by completing the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program at McMaster University and has also been instructed in the Graston Technique and various taping techniques. Emily gained valuable clinical experience as a primary physiotherapist and clinic director in a multidisciplinary clinic, where she effectively assessed and treated a variety of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions. In addition, she has experience in cardiorespiratory care, and treating both acute and chronic conditions with a range of pain management strategies and active therapy. Emily practices a combination of treatment techniques including acupuncture, manual therapy, soft tissue mobilization, and therapeutic taping, as well as patient education in functional exercises to help decrease pain, improve mobility, and meet patient goals for rehabilitation.
Fabiana Kellen – Physiotherapist
Fabiana is a Registered Physiotherapist with Rehab First providing services in the Toronto region. She attended the University Bandeirante of Sao Paulo where she obtained her Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree in 2001 along with attending the Brazilian Chiropractic Institute and Acupuncture College of Brazil. She completed post-graduate courses in acupuncture, shiatsu therapy and lymphatic drainage. She has worked in clinics, and retirement and nursing Homes. She has experience treating patients with musculoskeletal disorders, sports injuries, post-surgical management, and repetitive strain disorders. Fabiana also has experience with return to work programs, and is an ADP Authorizer for walker assessments. Fabiana incorporates manual therapy, mechanical diagnosis and treatment, soft tissue mobilization, exercise, and education strategies to decrease pain and restore function to meet client’s rehabilitation and functional goals.
Grace Bernaga – Physiotherapist

Grace has completed her Bachelor of Science in Degree in Physical Therapy (PT) from University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Centre, Quezon City, Philippines in 1996 and migrated to Canada in 2000. In 2008 she completed her Physiotherapy degree equivalency studies at Ryerson University and University of British Columbia and obtained her full fledge PT license in 2009. As a practicing PT in Ontario since 2009, Grace has excellent and extensive clinical experience in orthopedic and sports related injuries, MVA, post-operative musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. She had taken post-grad courses in Acupuncture (Level 1-A), Mulligan’s mobilization with movement techniques, Therapeutic Taping by Bahram Jam, and McKenzie techniques for Cervical and Lumbar region. Her areas of expertise are orthopedic, neurologic, cardiopulmonary and geriatric rehabilitation.
Currently Grace is primarily working as a community Physiotherapist and as well as in a long-term care facility, and out-patient PT clinic. Grace believes in an eclectic and positive approach in rehabilitation and will continue to upgrade her skills through continuing education and research so that she can provide the best evidence-based practice, client-centered care, and effective rehabilitation techniques to help her clients get back to their maximum function. Her research interests are effectiveness of manual therapy techniques in acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries, rehabilitation of fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, long term effects of MVA injuries and its rehabilitation and falls prevention in elderly.
Joshua Vincent - Physiotherapist
Joshua is a registered physiotherapist with Rehab First providing services in the London region. He graduated from the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR medical university in Chennai India with aBachelor of Physiotherapy (2007) followed by a Master of Physiotherapy (2009) from the same university specializing in orthopedics. He then attended Western University and completed a Doctorate in Rehabilitation Sciences (2014) based from Roth McFarlane Hand and Upper Limb Centre (HULC) at St. Joseph’s healthcare London with research interests in evaluation of clinical measurement properties of outcome measures used in upper extremity injuries and management incorporating advanced statistical and mathematical modeling.
Joshua has extensive research, teaching and employment experience. He has worked in hospital, clinic and community based rehabilitation settings with extensive experience managing musculoskeletal conditions, concussions, post-surgical rehab, geriatric rehab, post motor vehicle collision rehab, long term disability management and WSIB. He has specialized training in manual therapy, concussion management, vestibular rehabilitation and cancer rehabilitation which he incorporates into his holistic assessment and treatment of the clients seeking his services.
Kervi Batac – Physiotherapist
Kervi Batac is a Registered Physiotherapist in Canada since 2012. He completed his Physiotherapy degree equivalency studies from Ryerson University. He graduated with Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 1998 from Philippine College of Health Sciences. His treatment approach is primarily focused on assessment and rehabilitation to help address injuries that affects patient’s return to function ability.
Kervi was also a survivor from a life threatening car accident in 2006. His recovery motivated him to pursue his career in Physiotherapy to be able to help accident victims. Kervi believes in treatment collaboration approach, lifelong learning and is pursuing his interests in strength & conditioning, specialized manual therapy techniques, and chronic pain management.
He has always been involved in competitive sports and believes an active lifestyle is an essential ingredient to a healthier life. He is also a big sports fan and enjoys watching Toronto Raptors.
Kiratee Patel – Physiotherapist

Kiratee is a registered physiotherapist with Rehab First providing services in the Toronto region. She attended Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and graduated with Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree in 2009. She has been practising for more than 8 years in various clinical settings like Hospital, LTC home, publicly and privately funded out-patient clinics as well as in-home care setting which allowed her to treat a variety of conditions, with wide variety of ages. She has also obtained certification in acupuncture and vestibular rehabilitation. She employs a combination of soft tissue techniques, manual therapy, acupuncture, education and personalised exercise prescription in order to provide her patients with the best treatment experience. She has a client-centered approach to rehabilitation and believes that education and exercise components empower the patient to be active participants in their own rehabilitation.
Laura Brunton – Physiotherapist

Laura Brunton is a registered physiotherapist working with Rehab First Inc. in the London area. Laura graduated from Brock University with an Honours Bachelor in Kinesiology in 2007. Following this she completed a Master of Science in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at Western University in 2009, and a combined Master of Physical Therapy and a Doctorate in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences from Western University in 2014. Since then Laura has provided physiotherapy services to children and their families in their home, community and school environments to maximize their full potential. Laura is also very active in research as a Scientist with CanChild Centre for Childhood Disability Research and as an Assistant Professor in the School of Physical Therapy at Western University.
Priya Abraham - Physiotherapist
Priya is a Registered Physiotherapist with Rehab First Inc., providing services in the London Region. She is a registered member with The College of Physiotherapists of Ontario with good standing. Priya graduated from Mahatma Gandhi University, India with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. She has worked in various Hospitals, Outpatient clinics and Long term care facilities in New York and Michigan states in USA. Priya has extensive work experience evaluating and treating patients with Neurological, Orthopedic and Cardio respiratory conditions. She has over 12 years of clinical experience in her field. Priya has a passion for Neurological diagnosis and has held a certification as a Brain Injury Specialist in 2010 from the Academy of Brain Injury Specialist and was FIM certified in the past. Some of the continuing courses include Introduction to NDT in 2009, Functional freedom despite Dementia in 2013 and Physical and Occupational therapy Management of Spinal cord injuries in 2007.She has worked in Acute care, Sub- Acute and Inpatient Rehabilitation settings at various Hospitals and Nursing homes and has performed home safety evaluation as a part of discharge recommendations in patient home settings. Priya can converse fluently in Malayalam and Tamil and understands spoken Hindi.
Reni John – Physiotherapist

She is a registered member with The College of Physiotherapists of Ontario with good standing.
